Residence D: FINAL QUIZ

Simply put, we can't build buildings to resemble, say, the 1924 MacKenzie apartments here in the village. The historic structures of Mariemont were built before zoning was enacted, and the 1941 adopted zoning code never replicated the heights and setbacks required to build these venerable old buildings again.
Until now. If we want to provide new housing opportunities for the next century which fit into our architectural fabric, we need to vote YES for Issue 42 Residence D zoning on Nov. 3rd.

Residence D benefits for Mariemont's future:
a) expanded tax base
b) updated zoning
c) new housing stock
d) fulfillment of the original town plan
e) senior housing options

.
.

All at no cost to the taxpayer.
FINAL QUIZ
Q: So, exactly what do the MacKenzie and Jordan Park have in common?
.
A: They largely represent what buildings will look like under Residence D zoning, although Residence D was not in effect when either was built.
.
And they both make sense for Mariemont.
